KNEES, ANKLES AND FEET.
Look at the person’s KNEES from the front. Compare the two. Look at the knee caps
(patellae), if they are the same angles; very often one is higher than the other or one may
be over to one side.
Wherever there is pain at the touch, something is amiss. Adjust by squeezing the patella
over or down to where it looks right and see how it feels to the person. They know when it
feels in a more comfortable position.
Look at the top of Fibula on each leg: this may be up, down, forward or back. Adjust
accordingly. Check the outer ankle bone, this is the other end of Fibula. Very often, pain
in the knee is caused by Fibula being out of alignment.
Look at the top and bottom of Tibia, all round each end, compare both legs. Adjust only
where there is pain. Find the most comfortable positions.
Check the knee end of Femur on each leg.
Re-find the inside ANKLE bone – end of Tibia. Work your way gradually across the bones
of the ankle.
If they need adjustments they will be sensitive to touch. Each small bone can move in
almost any direction: find the most comfortable place for each. Only move them if
there is pain.
Look at the HEEL bone –calcaneum. Test all angles.
Next check the 5 main bones of the foot, both ends. The person knows which ones feel
odd or extra sensitive. They can move up, down, back, forth or twist in either direction;
find the most comfortable position for each. It takes some time.
Next check each bone in each toe, each end and in the middle. Compare the angles of each
with the other foot so that you can see the direction to move them. Work with the person
constantly so that they can understand what you are doing and can do it themselves if they
want to if it happens again.
Even if there is arthritis in the feet, it is helpful to have the bones re-aligned so that they
are less painful. I do not move them when the joints are inflamed but when they are not.
It can bring amazing relief.
ARMS AND HANDS.
Like with the legs and feet, check the angles and positions of each bone for sensitivity
with the person. Each bone can be put into the most comfortable position and because the
body likes to be right, is most likely to stay in that position.
